Nox Hotel Galway

Hotel was perfect, clean and friendly and modern, staff was very pleasant and helpful, tho one evening there was a mix up with our dinner order and when I spoke to the waitress who took our order she was very sharp and walked off shhruggi g her shoulders saying that's not what you ordered. She came bk with the right order soon after but plonked it on table without sayin a, word, about ten mins later she came bk and apologized for the misunderstanding and asked if there was anything else we wanted or that she could do. Her apologie meant a lot and I know it wouldn of been easy for her but it was appreciated, and we all have our moments, but even the misunderstanding didn't dampen our stay at this fabulous hotel, again it was spotless and staff were exceptional, oh I almost forgot to mention the food.. It was amazing, really tingles the taste buds and the breakfast buffet was mouthwatering and catered for everyone , compliments to the chef.. All and all fantastic hotel with fantastic staff, and amazing food.. 10/10 for everything

A chain hotel & as such it provides the service and accommodation mid range chain hotels do to a sound standard. It's clean if a bit shabby - its very high footfall makes that inevitable. The staff a stand out feature - courteous, well trained & really helpful. Breakfast standard all you can eat buffet & other food good although very limited vegetarian choices. Fine if you're on a business trip and/or are travelling by car & need swift access to main traffic routes.

My partner has many food intolerances, which normally makes eating out stressful. Your restaurant staff are a credit too you. Our first contact was Victor, he was brilliant. He said we will do anything with the ingredients we have. I've been in hospitality for years and as a trainer, chef and restaurateur, I who love all food was so impressed how the stress was taken away instantly. The young team of staff then carried this on daily, even remembering my partners intolerance after just one visit. And this made her stay so more enjoyable. And mine, I loved all the food and your Guinness was great. If we ever come back to Galway we will be staying at your lovely hotel.

Every now and then, you come across a hotel that has it all—the Nox is one of those places. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the inviting atmosphere, everything was lovely. The bar and restaurant located just off the reception area had a lovely ambiance, and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff went above and beyond, especially in how kind they were to my 11-year-old, our room was lovely, spacious, clean, and comfortable. convenient access to an ATM, snack machines on the upper floors, and the option to order additional food to the room if needed. This is exactly the kind of hospitality you miss when traveling abroad. Many hotels outside Ireland can feel cold and impersonal, but the Nox Hotel embodies the warm “Céad Míle Fáilte” that makes staying in Ireland so special.

We thought this hotel had a nice atmosphere and good facilities. The staff were very helpful with our extra requests. The beds were comfortable and the shower was good. The location is not in the centre of town but it’s fine if you have a car, and there is plenty of parking.
